About VCZ Systems.
VCZ Systems is an engineering company in Heidelberg working on telemetry and connected systems. We develop hardware, firmware, apps and cloud software, both as products of our own and on behalf of our clients.
The company was founded in 2026 and grew out of independent engineering that started in 2025: onboard computers for light electric vehicles, battery management systems, telemetry for autonomous streetlights, and displays and apps for e-bikes.
Our technical foundation comes from safety-critical aviation, where software is developed to DO-178C, one of the most demanding standards in the industry. The habits that come with it, written requirements, systematic testing and traceable decisions, are simply how we work here too.
VCZ Systems is deliberately small, so you deal directly with the people who build your project rather than a chain of account managers. We are based in Heidelberg, work on site across the Rhine-Neckar region, and work remotely for clients in Germany and Spain.
